Review policy

A review on HomeTarget means a real job happened. That is the whole policy — everything below is how we keep it true.

• We only invite a review after a homeowner's quote request is matched, the pro confirms the job was completed, and the homeowner confirms it too.
• Reviews are tied to that job's service and city. One completed job = one review opportunity.
• We never import reviews from other platforms, never accept reviews written by a business about itself, and never let a business pay to suppress a genuine review.
• Businesses can respond to any review publicly. Disputed reviews are checked against the quote/job record before any change is made.
• A profile with no verified jobs yet says exactly that — “No verified reviews yet” — rather than showing an empty star rating.
